2009 Festival Line-Up

The Arts Council of Fairfax County presents the 2009 Festival on Saturday and Sunday, September 19th & 20th at Wolf Trap National Park for the Performing Arts. Our confirmed international performers are from Georgia, Serbia, and Spain.

Someone took me email address for feedback at the festival, but never emailed me. Here are my comments.
• The children did not do their own silk screening. An adult did it for them and said "see what you did?" and sent them on their way.
• The games need more attendants. People only played games they knew and didn't pick up instructions to learn new games.
• At the session where children stamped things at specific spots on a map, the 3-year-old stamped where she pleased, which was age appropriate. When she tried to get her passport stamped, I was asked, "Did she finish?" and was told she didn't do it correctly.
•If you had an electronic device for taking email addresses, such as an iPad, perhaps the obtaining emails for evaluations would have worked better.
•The rest of the festival was fantastic! I am only listing thing that would be easy to improve at future events!
